What is Newspapers in Education?This program promotes student literacy by using the newspaper as an effective teaching tool. Through the Newspaper in Education program, the Evansville Courier & Press distributes 800,000 newspapers to tri-state schools each year. Newspapers in Education is a unique way for schools, businesses, agencies, and the Evansville Courier & Press to collaborate and benefit all of us! Newspapers in Education students get an up-to-the-minute "living textbook" delivered to their classroom everyday. The use of newspapers in classrooms helps improve literacy and skills in other subjects. The program creates a lasting connection between students and our local communities. |

Educational PublicationsThe Newspapers in Education program produces tabloid-sized educational supplements for various topics. These printed materials are provided to schools, used in classrooms and given to students to take home.
